Built Different. On Purpose.

The 2026 Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 isn’t interested in fitting neatly into a category.

Part roadster, part bobber and heavily influenced by custom motorcycle culture, the Shotgun combines Royal Enfield’s acclaimed 648cc parallel-twin engine with a low-slung stance, muscular proportions and clever modular design that lets riders make the motorcycle their own.

Producing 34.6kW and 52.3Nm, the smooth parallel twin delivers strong, usable mid-range performance through a 6-speed gearbox. Showa upside-down suspension, wide tubeless tyres, dual-channel ABS and a low 795mm seat height give it the hardware to match its distinctive looks.

But what really sets the Shotgun apart is its adaptability. Its modular rear section allows it to move between single-seater, double-seater and luggage-carrying configurations, creating a motorcycle that can change character depending on the ride.

It’s unconventional, unapologetic and unmistakably Royal Enfield.

Available in the following colours:
Green Drill (on request): R140,200
Stencil White: R142,200

Key Highlights:

  • 648cc Parallel-Twin Engine: Royal Enfield’s proven air/oil-cooled twin produces 34.6kW and 52.3Nm, with a strong mid-range and smooth, accessible power delivery.
  • Modular Design: Easily transform the Shotgun between a stripped-back single-seater, practical two-seater or luggage-carrying tourer configuration.
  • Custom-Inspired Styling: A chopped rear end, floating-style seat, muscular tank and distinctive colourways give the Shotgun the attitude of a custom build straight from the factory.
  • Low 795mm Seat Height: The low seat and low centre of gravity help make the Shotgun manageable around town while contributing to its purposeful stance.
  • Showa Big Piston USD Fork: A Showa Separate Function Big Piston upside-down fork delivers 120mm of front-wheel travel.
  • Showa Twin Rear Shocks: Twin Showa rear shocks provide 90mm of travel and complement the motorcycle’s substantial road-going character.
  • 18-inch Front / 17-inch Rear Wheels: Wide tubeless tyres give the Shotgun its muscular proportions while providing plenty of road grip.
  • Dual-Channel ABS: Large 320mm front and 300mm rear disc brakes provide confident stopping performance backed by dual-channel ABS.
  • LED Lighting: Modern LED lighting is incorporated into the Shotgun’s neo-retro design.
  • 13.8-Litre Fuel Tank: Provides useful capacity for everything from daily riding to longer weekend escapes.
  • Mid-Set Controls: Mid-positioned footpegs and naturally placed handlebars create a more versatile riding position than the typical feet-forward cruiser arrangement.
  • Made to Personalise: From its modular architecture to its custom-inspired bodywork, the Shotgun was designed as a canvas for riders wanting to create something individual.

Who Is the Shotgun 650 For?

The Shotgun 650 is for the rider who looks at a standard motorcycle and immediately starts thinking about what they’d change.

Its modular construction and custom-inspired styling make it particularly appealing to riders who want something individual, adaptable and noticeably different from the crowd. Run it solo for the full stripped-back bobber look, add the pillion seat when someone wants to come along, or configure it for luggage when the weekend calls.

The 648cc parallel twin also gives it enough performance to back up the attitude. There’s plenty of usable torque for urban riding, enough muscle for the open road and a 6-speed gearbox that makes longer journeys comfortably achievable.

Compared with the more traditional Classic 650 or laid-back Super Meteor 650, the Shotgun brings a distinctly more rebellious flavour to Royal Enfield’s twin-cylinder family.

It doesn’t really fit into a box.

That’s kind of the point.
